    Hi everyone,

Half-term kind of threw a spanner in the works with the meal planning and I didn't do any plan last week. And guess what... I went completely over budget. So back to planning. Here's what we're having this week:

Today: Peri-peri chicken with chips & roasted veg
    Tomorrow: HM pizza
Wednesday: Pork fillet with mustard & cream sauce, mash, broccoli
Thursday: MIL's mutton curry with rice and lentils
Friday: Steak with stilton sauce, potato wedges, salad
    Saturday: Chili con carne
    Sunday: out

Breakfasts are cereal or toast. Lunches for me are HM sandwiches, soup or leftovers. DD gets cooked lunch at school and OH sorts out his own.

  • I haven't done a meal plan for 2 weeks, and I missed the organised feeling it gave me, so here goes for this week:

Mon: Bacon, leek and potato bake (new recipe) from remoska book, with sweetcorn.
Tue: Macaroni cheese, and actifry wedges
Wed: Easy pizza (i'm out all day, so it has to be easy) Ice cream and fruit.
    Thurs: Lasagne with veggies.
    Fri: Soup, toasties.
    Sat: Away all day.
Sun: DD 19yo birthday, so I'll have to think about this one.

    Hi everyone,

Parents, sis and neice have gone home after a lovely weekend so it's back to the old routine now .....

I've been a bit bored at work today so have done a whole month's worth of mealplans :shhh: :D and done a shopping list based on what I've already got in. Glad to say the list isn't too long and I'm hoping to be well under my GC budget for this month (fingers crossed !)

Mealplan for this week (MIL and FIL coming to visit this weekend so 2 extra to feed):

Monday - Lasagne, salad and garlic bread
    Tuesday - Roast Pork Dinner
Weds - Spaghetti Bolognaise (bulked out with oats and hidden veg - 1/2 will go in freezer for another day :T )
    Thurs - Shepherds Pie
Friday - Chicken Curry & Rice
Saturday - Breakfast = Porridge. Lunch = Leek & Potato Soup & HM Bread. Dinner = Creamy cod, mash potato and veg (sausages for kids) and Apple & Raspberry Crumble for dessert.
Sunday - Breakfast = Cereal. Lunch = Roast Pork Dinner. Tea = Dippy Egg & Soldiers.

Weekday brekkie is usually porridge/cereal. Weekday lunches are packed (HM Bread sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt and HM cakes). Snacks = fruit, Twinks hobnobs.

Have a good week everyone
