I wish I had a living room big enough to fit one of those sofas in!

Mine's 12'x11'6" so by the time you've got two people and a dog in it's full, and that's without furniture. Virtually all sofas look too big in here, but I still spent £1200 on a decent leather recliner sofa that meets my needs. I was very lucky that at the time I had the money to buy it for cash.

If you have the money to spend then you shouldn't feel that you can only have the cheapest thing that meets your needs.

Dont people Measure their room first, and the old sofa, then the" new" one first before buying?

Took the words right out of my mouth!

OK, my new sofa arrived two days ago...my first reaction was that I hated it! I was in tears for alot of the day as it just seems so huge..

SO.....hubby has agreed if I still don't like it in 6 months we can sell it on ebay and buy a cheaper one from Sofasofa.

I think I would probably only get about £800 if I am lucky (it cost us £1400 over 4 yrs interest free) and the one i like in Sofasofa is £800....

Would this be incredibly stupid of me?!

ps For what its worth, i like the sofa a lot more now, its growing on me, and the kids and hubby love it....

Sorry, I doubt you'd get £800 for it now let alone in 6 months...check out completed ebay listings...

Our living room isn't massive but it houses this sofa comfortably - the delivery men had no problems at all getting it in, we thought they might have to go round the back but nope, easy peasy :T

Out of interest which corner sofa did you get? Hope you love it!

Did you not see it before you bought it ?
£1400 seems an awful lot for a sofa, I bought 2 Italian red leather sofas for £1030 delivered, I paid cash. So I think you probably have a £700 sofa with 4 years of high interest £700, making up the £1400. There is no such thing as interest free.
