Just a thought, but did you see it in person or order it in store? If you purchased online you may be able to return it based on the DSR, but you have to act within 7 days I think. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

We have a sofa very much like the one in your link that you've got. When we first got it into our house I did think 'what have we done!!' because it took up so much space and I'd got used to a big empty room with no sofa at all. I love it now though, The comfyness more than makes up for the size and I don't notice that it takes up half the room now that I've got used to it.
I think your husband is wise in suggesting that you wait 6 months. If you haven't got used to it by then then you probably won't but it's well worth giving it a proper chance to grow on you.0 -
I am glad that everyone is saying the same thing....I am not great at making decisions but don't want to be an idiot and sell something for alot less than i paid for it...UNLESS I simply cannot get used to it in which case I may well have to (dh may never forgive me!!)0

When we got our new sofas they seemed to take up the whole room, but now I would not be without them. Problem is they are a little to comfy and it is not unknown for me to fall asleep when I sit down.
Stick with it, if nothing else at least it will double as a spare bed too! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
i had to comment as my son is wanting to buy this exact sofa ... we had a sofa with square arms and didnt like it all, it was so uncomfortable if you're leaning against, so i mentioned this to him his response was... its so big i'll not be sitting /lying anywhere near the arm :rotfl: ...0

I'd be amazed if you'd get anything like £800 for it on Ebay.0

Really? I mean it would be 6 months old and (hopefully!) like new....having had a look a few have gone for this and more when they have been older?
I am starting to like the sofa more and more anyway so I think its irrelevant as I think we'll keep it - it is so comfy and I do like walking in the room and seeing the kids sprawled all over it!0 -
thats sofa is lovely!!
sorry just wanted to say!!lolYou may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0
