Anybody know a good lawyer or legal firm? ..I'd like to sue the Carphone Warehouse for false advertising.

This is the most riduculous claim Ive ever seen, they are not even the cheapest on the high street!

And the price match guarantee.. well like previous posts they are only willing to match deals being offered by websites they own:

The Phone Spot

Any deals from Caudwell Group sites:

or other independents:

they wont match!!!

maybe they should add the following to their site:

"Cheapest on the web guarantee - just leave this website and visit one of our other sites One Stop Phone Shop, e2save or the phone spot for a better deal than you'll find here!!"

I'm not sure about online, but the price promise in store only relates to the price of a product/handset, not the actual deal. Even then, they'll only match upto £50 difference unless you find a paticular store who are willing to match more.
