I've just come back from PC World in Kingston Park (Newcastle), they've still got loads in stock.
However, make sure you reserve online for instore pickup as they're reduced from £80 to £55 in-store as opposed to £40 if you reserve online.

I picked up one of these when it was on offer in the New Year - best money I ever spent. Haven't seen the kids since then!! Peace reigns in our house once more.. no more arguments as to who turn it is to go on the Internet...everybody can!!!!
So Yes... in that respect it is a fab deal!!!!!!!Turn £100 into £10,000Total £0/£10,000:j2012 Challenge - £14 / £12000Declared bankrupt - 20.1.11

I picked up one of these today for £39.99. Really easy to set up (once I set my ethernet port to DHCP rather than a hard coded IP address) and my desktop and laptop can both go online at once... great! No more arguments. Didn't use the enclosed CD at all though; no need to.
Did upgrade the router firmware though, that was an easy process too."Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain0 -
Totally bizarrely : large PC World advert in one of Thursday's papers headed "Half Term Price Crash with Internet beating deals...."
Lead item is:
Linksys WGKPC354G Code 459034 : "Internet beating deal! £49.99 voucher price, take this [advert] into store"
So while their "Internet" website is covered in ads to reserve this on the Internet for collection at store for £39.99, their newspaper "Internet beating deal" voucher deal after buying a 60p newspaper is ONLY £10 more! The newspaper voucher is valid to 21/02, so perhaps website price won't last that long?
At least they both agree that £59.99 is the price that if you are a sap and just walk into their store expecting to be treated fairly!
The "Internet beating deal" may mean that if you find it cheaper on the Internet within 7 days at a top 10 website - per Hitwise PTY Limited's "Shopping and Classifieds - Computers top ten [Though how you find out who these are is totally unclear, especially at Hitwise's own website] - you can get back 110% of the difference. Probably best sticking to the "other retail store within 30 miles" price comparison.
Oh the DSG Retail group..... they operate in another customer service world!0 -
I ordered mine last night (along with a Belkin USB adapter for just £13.99)
off to pick it up after work....

Hi
Can someone please help me with this setup. I have everything working all the lights come on etc but it can not connect to the internet. My bt broadband when plugged in works fine however the linksys just keeps failing to connect to the net. I just keep getting unable to establish a connection.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks0 -

are you sure that you have got the username and password correct for the router? I installed a new router for someone and that took hours to fix, in the end the problem was they had used the wrong username, my fault really I had only asked them three times if it was correct!
do a google search about user and pass on bt routers, you should find the format it needs to be in. HTH0 -

Martin, I haven't bought one yet, but I have been keeping my eye on the web price periodically and it seems fixed at £39.99.
If alot of interest is shown and they've twigged its a bargin, I'm sure the price will be bumped back up the original price of 60 quid.
Will order one now tho, just in case0
