Lol @ them saying you are 2nd best. I wander if they'll remember that if they have any more job openings? *fingers crossed*0 -

Well I don't have a cat but nearly bought a kitten once, does that count? Reason I didn't is that I am so bad at looking after myself, I thought I might forget to feed the poor thing - I do have highlights and a pic of three little kittens on my computer tho!
Great thread BTW, I read a book last year about someones spending diary (can't remember the author) and it was hilarious, a bit like this actually, sounds like a writing career is in the wings (and I bet she paid her debts from the proceeds)!! x0 -

My old dog from bygone days was called Cindy - not sure I've heard anyone called that though, apart from her who had all the plastic surgery!0

That just sucks, talk about rub your nose in it. Its strange they added that comment in the letter, not really needed. I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you that you get a job offer letter in the post very soon!

Well, I don't have any animals at the moment (unless you count my 3 year old daughter!), but back in 'the old days', my parents had 2 dogs, both golden retrievers. I am blessed (or cursed, depending on the day) with a family with a strange sense of humour. My younger brother named the first dog 'Golden Bennett', my Dad wanted a name to go with it, so he named the second dog 'Arnold Bennett'
I'm not sure which was worse - calling the dog after an ancient playwright, or shortening it to Arnie, and having everyone think he was named after the Terminator!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

My first pet was a goldfish called 'Jet' from the lady from the Gladiators..and i do believe that also counts then as a human name..:rotfl:

Hi redstar(arnie) - hope you didn't call yourself that after the dog, ha!
My uncle also had a Jack Russell called Jack, suppose it's easy to remember, eh!
Just noticed you just got married on 1 March, congratulations!0 -
