The girls have left, taking the GU brownies with them which I insisted they do (go me). The willpower it took to do that is negated by the fact that I've still got about half the lasagne which I'm very likely to trough by myself later!
Am just going to chill today in prep for my party tomorrow. I love doing it but I always get really nervous that no one's going to turn up! It's not happened so far but I had a horrible anxiety dream about it last night which has rattled me a bit!
Hope everyone's having a lovely Saturday. Can't wait to hear about Eb's date! Reckon you might be right about Blondie, RR - perhaps some time out has given her the impetus to take action if she was feeling particularly unhappy. The mystery continues...

Hi Ruby! The landlady came and offered me a lift to the supermarket - high excitment for me as we live in the middle of nowhere and have no transport - hurrah! I took your advice and got a hlaf price Easter egg which I am going to eat now!! It was half price, so I don't feel too bad - after all, I am giving it a home! I hope your party goes well tomorrow - it sounds so exciting - music in a pub on a Sunday! Gosh, I would be passed myself with excitement all the time if I lived in London!
Tilly - I am a size 18 as well, and was that size whenj I got married. I have to say, you certainly don't look it in your photo you posted a while ago - it all about where you carry it, isn't it? Mine's up top!!!

Hello all !
Am contemplating nabbing one of Mr GGs eggs to scoff....... He claims he likes the actual egg rather than the choc/bars/jellies that come with them, and thereby numerous smaller eggs would be better received than just one. I am sure he wouldn't notice? Would he?** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Have cooked a load of cupcakes for a kids easter party tomorrow, another order yay! and it was a last minute one!!!

Wow you religion-based-chocolate rebel! I'm so impressed with your disregard for symbolism in the pursuit of chocolate!
Well, as predicted I've nearly finished the lasagne, but am comforting self with the fact that it's vegetables and not mince. Unfortunately there are almond Magnums in the freezer which have begun a siren-song. Why do I spend my whole time in tears in Dorothy Perkins' changing rooms yet come the weekend, trough empty calories like I was in some kind of competition? Rubbish.
Tilly & RR, you both look fab. I'm a size 16-18 at the moment but kind of carry it off a bit (a very small 'bit') as I'm 5 9". If I were this weight and 5ft I would look exactly like an Easter Egg (I carry all my weight round my bottom half - yuk).

Hi Ruby - I shouldn't have eaten my eggs as its not the happy part of Easter until tomorrow. Bad Rosered.
it sounds like there are some Amazons on this thread. I can still lift up the front end of a Vauxhall Nova as a party trick. I got into a taxi the other day wearing a halter neck dress. The taxi driver looked at me appreciatively then said "I wouldn't want a clout off you" Translated to people not from here "You are statuesque in the extreme". I took it as a compliment.
Hi to all the ladies and where are you all? Out on the Easter razzle you minx queens. Time for more Easter egg. How did Ebony's date go?
My thoughts are with Blondie - where art thou, pixie?0 -

I have the same problem, one minute I'm trying on every piece of clothing I own, and hating the way I look in all of them, the next minute I'm eating almost an entire pack of rich teas without hardly even stopping for breath
And I'm about a 14, but being vertically challenged means I cannot carry it off well - at all. I wonder if i could be medically stretched?!No? Oh well.
much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -
Very quiet on the boards last few day, how dare people have a life!!!! Lol
Well Happy Easter peeps. I'll be doing a roast later and then maybe read a bit of my book and then some more research for "Jessica's Cupcakes" trying to source cheaper suppliers.
OH is cooking brunch-yummy yum yumBe your own superhero :j0 -
I guess everyone is busy having a life! No fair, I want one too..:rotfl:
I guess as everyone is discussing stats I'll start with I'm around a size 12-14-16 (i'm complicated, it so depends what I'm buying where!) but it looks like I'm the munchkin of the thread at 5ft3!
It was so nice to go shooping on my birthday and get some new clothes- I now have some jeans I can sit down in and still breathe! Very exciting.
I really need to loose some weight (again) I yo-yo diet sooo badly. Think I'll wait 'til all my easter eggs are gone then see about getting rid of half a stone for starters.. I might even need to go to the gym again:eek: Good job my gym is pay-as-you-go so that you don't have to pay when you don't go!! :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a good bank hol weekend. I'm off to my mum and dad's with BF for Sunday dinner Yum Yum
Easter Hugs for everyone!0 -
Gutted - I just typed a whole post and then '!!!!!!' it disappeared!I guess as everyone is discussing stats I'll start with I'm around a size 12-14-16 (i'm complicated, it so depends what I'm buying where!) but it looks like I'm the munchkin of the thread at 5ft3!
Laura, I didn't realise I had a long lost twin, you've just described me almost exactly! I'm different sizes top and bottom, then different again depending on what shop or what type of clothes . I would guess that I average a 14, but it's so annoying never really knowing!
All this talk of roast dinners is making me hungry. Have decided to start properly on weight watchers again from Tues, so I guess maybe I should get a roast in before then!
Hope everyone's enjoying their Easter, and Blondie, wherever you are, I know you don't know me but I hope you're ok.much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0
