Happy Easter to all ladies. I have eaten all my eggs.
Poorly with the usual women's thing arghhhhhhhhh What was God thinking about with that reproductive design system? Horses don't have it.
Breaaathe.... See you all later xxx
I think there's a direct correllation between you eating all your chocolate and the women's issues which of course makes all the calories negative ergo: fine. Sorry you're suffering RR - all that is definitive proof God's not a woman (probably shouldn't be blaspheming on Easter should I? Oops).
I went to Tesco earlier and ended up getting strawberry cheesecake for pud tonight but almost bought myself an Easter Egg (they were stacked tantalisingly next to the till). However it suddenly felt slightly tragic so I put it back. I have obviously been conditioned to think that you can only receive Easter Eggs from other people, not buy them for yourself. How sad! :rotfl:

Hi Ruby:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I couldn't bring myself to buy an Easter egg for myself either. I get around this by buying 4 for younghusband and eating 3 of them, plus whatever he buys me.
Hope you have a nice evening. Like the sound of your dinner party menu.. I know I am always going on about making home made chicken pies and roasts and stuff, but its not for myself - I'm a vegetarian.0 -

LOL!! Love that! The only person I could buy an egg for (to actually eat myself) is my flatmate but she's a marathon-running fitness type who buys a bar of chocolate, eats one square then PUTS IT BACK IN THE FRIDGE.
How odd that I can merrily buy myself chocolate any old day of the week but once it's egg-shaped and in a box it suddenly becomes off-limits.
My mum's a vegetarian so my diet was pretty much veggie growing up. She cooks meat sometimes for my dad and bro (who still lives at home) but she does amazing veggie stuff so you just don't feel you need meat. I'm sure you're the same. I cooked this veg lasagne for her on Mother's Day and it went quite well. Actually should probably start peeling veg in a mo!

Hi Ruby - so true about being a veggie now - it is easy. 25 years ago it wasn't - and people were so mean to me about it. I think I am a good veggie cook as well as meat cook - I love it when I make a veggie meal that meat eaters like!everyone has to do their own thing don't they? Veggies are so good for us, even if we have to eat less chocolate to make room for them X

Hi all - just checking in. I too have scoffed my (one and only) Easter egg. I went to the gym yesterday, felt really virtuous - then sat down to watch ER & Grey's Anatomy and thought 'mmmm - chocolate'. It was brilliant - now I will just hoover up bits of the rugrat's eggs when they aren't looking. They all have at least 3 each - I'm sure there will be some for me...Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

No offense meant Snow White! Obviously the Snow White of seven dwarves fame is a much different character to Snow White of the 'Snow white and Rose Red' story. (pack peddling anyone!)0 -
No offence taken laura. I was just skimming through the thread at random and saw that.. couldn't help myself0
