  • I am also a marmite girl. Cheese and marmite on toast...mmmm...

What is everybody up to this evening?

I'm sat basking in the sun next to the patio doors listening to some cows moo. There's a farm behind our house and the cows are going craaaaazy moo-ing. I think somebody has forgot to milk them...or perhaps they also have problems with dustbins (hehe).

OH has gone out to collect his friends so I'll be hiding in the living room all evening with the TV on very loud so I can't hear their computer game gun noises. Fun! He's promised me that I'll have him all to myself for the rest of the week though...hmmm....we'll see.

Arr I'm off to cook some cheese and marmite on toast now before OH and his friends arrive and comment on everything I do, ruby you have influenced me!

Hope your days are going well! It's so frustrating at work - I can read this thread, but I can't post...

Blondie - Hope the interviews went well
    Laura - a grand! That's truly fab!
RR - you're having us on, Younghusband must be an injoke - surely you're younger than him?!?

Ok, 'nuff talk, (hopefully) here I am....

  • Im back! (like a bad smell that just wont go away...:D )

I had the best interview of my LIFE!!!! The man had only been at the job for 4 weeks and he was a great interviewer. He asked me some challenging stuff and i think it went well! At then end of the interview he asked to be excused for a few minutes, and i was thinking, 'well maybe hes popped to the lav' and he came back and he said 'oh i just asked the Chairman to come and meet you but unfortunately his on a call'. WOOP WOOP
    *boogies around the front room*
So hes got two more people to interview but i will hear Friday!

Also have made my nephews easter bonnet. Drove around for 45 mins after the interview to buy things from the florist and craft shop, ending up spending £10!!!!! !!!!!!!!! on stuff for it!! It has now been done and it looks so funny. The hat is bigger than my nephew and im slightly worried about him needing a neck brace from the sheer weight of the thing. :D The parade is tomorrow morning so ive told him not to bother calling me if he doesnt win. (lol)

I am not going to my poker club tonight, im going to sit in tonite and catch up on, wait for it, 4 episodes of corrie!!! I have a HUGE packet of choccie digestives to demolish. Could life get much better???

My nana is better today, she had to have a blood transfusion yesterday as her body is not making enough blood. So for those of you that donate blood, you may have helped my nana! :j :j

It is officially count down to Clacton time. I intend to eat my body weight on travel sweets on the way there, so need to go to asda to stock up.

Also need to recommend to you all i brought a Collection 2000 nail varnish on the weekend, uber cheapo and its fab. I intend to boycott Bourjois nail varnish from now on as its naff compared to the Collection 2000 one!
    CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j :D
    CC2 - £2400
    CC3 - £3200
    I hate redundancy..it sucks.
    ...............................
    Only smarties have the answer...

Woohoo:j wow if he wanted the chairman to meet you that must be good.

You're creating a brilliant image of this easter bonnet! I want a nephew to make one for :D perhaps somebody at work would lend me their child? I'll ask around
  • Argh, this thread moves too quickly, I blink and it's 2 pages longer :rotfl: And how the heck did I end up on the 'models' thread - eek! might not have that second cake slice after all :rotfl:

Blondie, I don't think I know you already, but you seem pretty familiar too ... you didn't go to the Uni of Manchester did you?

Sounds like my house Catherine, lol, my hubby would probably save his PS2 memory card rather than me from a fire  :D I'm off out to the Trafford centre tonight though - won £10 in boots vouchers, so a guilt free treat! I'm meeting a friend for starbucks and a guilty pudding, and a catch up seeing as I'm 'working from home' this week (ie. posting on here!)

Blondie - I'm so pleased that the interview went well. Definitely a good sign that he wanted the chairman to meet you - that's great!
And how lucky is your nephew, having you to make his bonnet!! You realise that we'll want a photo - you'll have to model it for us!

Glad to hear your granny's on the mend too.

Just noticed hubby's asleep on the sofa next to me :smileyhea looks so sweet, he reverts back to little boy mode. Now I can slowly switch down the volume on the sports news and switch channel :rotfl:
