Just a quick note about cash converter's etc.... i am reliably informed (by a CC manageress!) that Cash Converters mostly sell on eBay, and as they will only give you about 1/2 to 2/3's what they will get for your stuff it may be worth trying eBay yourself first.... after all they've got to make their money too.

I can't find the original post but just want to agree with the poster about the cards you put up in shops. I did really well a few years ago selling some kitchen goods I won. Some items I could use but two were just too big. I listed the fridge on Ebay first which only got modest interest and lots of hassle - Are you sure you can't deliver...etc. I didn't think the shop cards would be any good but thought I would give it a try - Got loads of interest and sold very quickly and they were expensive items. They come and collect and no pay pal fees.:T Because I never look at those cards in the supermarket I assumed no one else did but I was clearly wrong and the buyers were really nice. Also Supermarkets don't charge to put them up so its worth a punt when you are doing your weekly shop especially for larger items.

I have sold some small Elemis travel sets on ebay for £5 a set so their products do sell there. Have you checked completed listings on ebay?

I saw a link on here for Kidsbid.co.uk and although theres a lot of brand new stuff I have sold 5/6 items which sold better than I expected, especially for a site that doesnt charge fees for listing. Have paid for a couple of decent stuff on there too So at min Im double listing on there and ebay and seeing what happens!

Gosh, that is good considering it was spammed here before the site was even registered and wan't even opened as a web site until 17th April. You've actually sold more items than the site has hosted....
For anyone interested in these out of the box auction sites please make sure they comply with all UK regulations before parting with any money. This site has no easily visible contact details, you have to email via webmail to contact them. It is still being worked on though, half the sections are still being built but personally I would urge caution, and anyway as at this morning not one single item has a bid!

Well not sure about any of that but GOSH I have sold 6 things on it and will be listing more today or tommorow, not sure why but I can see quite a number of items for sale? perhaps cos Im a member? So I'll ignore your sarcasm......... As its free and there was no money to pay, I didnt feel it could be a con and when I got stuck with my 1st listing, I dint get any of the sarcasm that I have found here! so Im happy - I'm just going to place duplicate listings on there and ebay so I get twice the coverage for the price of 1 auction. Additionally the choice of not HAVING to use Paypal is a massive bonus! just waiting for my buyers to leave me some feedback and I will be a happy bunny:T

More importantly I am also thinking of using 121bid for another set of free listings - anyone had any experience on there? or can recommend any other free to list sites?
