Good morning all animal lovers

Well I write this with fantastic news. I am now the proud owner of "Candy" (not sure if I like the name?) :j

I collected Candy on Friday evening from Bristol.

She is a Golden Retriever and is 3 years old. Her family had personal problems and could no longer keep her.

We collected her around 9pm and slept all the way home.

She has been impeccably behaved since she has arrived. Infact she has only barked once! I was beginging to think she didn't have a bark!!!
We have had no accidents either


I feel that we are truly blessed to have such a wounderful girl and she will be very well loved and looked after with us.

May I take the oppertunily to thank you all for your help in my quest.

ooh congratulations - just goes to show that the right dog is always out there if you are prepared to wait and do a bit of legwork!!

You do know we need piccies now though don't you??

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. I can't wait to see some pictures!

I'm jealous, I had dogs as a child, but as I live alone and wo*k all day can't have one....roll on retirement and I'll have two...so just 25 years to wait.:rolleyes:
