The previous posters advice on roulette should be ignored. The house has an edge on Roulette of between 1.35% and 5.4%. The amount wagered to money lost ratio on any casino game will always approach the house edge. That means on your standard roulette table in a local casino that £2.70 will be lost for every £100 wagered. This is a mathematical fact and the only thing that martin gayling does is to ensure that when you do lose it is a huge life destroying amount rather than a small loss, which is what will happen with level staking. The only way to beat casinos is through bonuses or counting cards as that gives the player an edge over the house. There is a good article on this subject here:

Tea palps are easy to spot. If the odds are way out of line then it would be wise not to bet on it. A common thing that would be palped is when a trader enters the odds the wrong way around such as entering 25 instead of 2.5. That bet will obviously be cancelled. If you want to see a breakdown of what people can earn then have a look through this thread on TGT. There are people making over 2k a month through low risk activities.

Glad to see your doing well U4E and would not be bothered about not meeting the challenge. I would be staggered if someone could make that in a year without an excellent paid job, a large float to mb with or some genius business idea.
Thanks dude.
I am not bothered about meeting the challenge but, at the same time, I am not sure it's that difficult. I aim to have at least 3 streams of income sorted within the next 2 months. Granted, time is getting on with the project so I probably won't meet it but I am SO happy with what I have got done so far and what I have planned out. Everyday I go to bed wishing I had more time in the day to get more done."So, I've decided to take my work back underground... to stop it falling into the wrong hands..."0 -
:eek::eek::eek: That is absolutely awful advice,do not EVER EVER go on to roulette and just throw (yes throw) money onto the black.Doing any form of high risk gambling like this goes against all I believe in.(to tight to do the lottery lol
) .
Teadrinker ,In answer to you,U4EA pretty much said it all.My float is just edging above £3.5 K .(I need mbing to live ,so take cash out weekly ).Mb for any available hours a day,I refuse to let it consume my life though,as I believe can happen.I get up every day ,do what I want and need to do ,then mb.
You really need to find what works for you, somepeople to make £5 a day is huge,to their time constraints and life style, others its a case of they need to mb 24/7 to just survive.
Power,thank-you for your answer:T,Id hate to think any-one actually went and did the bet black tactic.

Thanks Power, U4EA and PP!
Power I looked at the thread you suggested on TGT, it was inspiring! There are some things on there that I know can't be discussed on here that I'd like to look into!
To answer your questions U4EA I have only got a £500 float so I'm small time! I haven't kept very good records so I don't know how many bookies I've done, about 30. I had a bigger float of about £1500 but I never used it all at once because I didn't do enough offers and then I spent most of it on a new laptop (an investment for mbing!). I put in up to ten hours a week.
I don't use Ultimatcher. I downloaded it and I couldn't see where you can record all your betting history.
I think my problem is I spend a long time researching every offer. I'd like to do Bodog, Cashpoint and Mybet but I'm nervous because I know there have been payment problems with them. So I'm doing Bluesq at the moment and that's it. I've made two mistakes since I started doing this but I corrected them both before I lost money (lost a few quid correcting them) and I've never had a bookie refuse payout because I've done the ones with good reputations. It seems to me that most of the ones left are not so good so I can't see how to proceed with sign ups. Take the chance and prepare for the one day when a withdrawal is refused?
Thanks again for all the useful help!0 -
can someone explain or post a link on what this floats business is about?
When i was younger there was this system whereby you could win alot of money on online routlette whereby you can spin the wheel numerious times till you get x amount of reds then bet on the black, increasing your amount each time until you win. It takes up ALOT of hours of messing about which is why i stopped, but it used to make me £50-100 per month, student days!!
Without any other source of income how do you expect to make 50k on your current salary, how are you currently getting on, ebay only gets you so far unless you have a good source to buy from and sell on ebay, but agen is hard to fit in with a f/t job.0 -
Hi cashback.:hello:
The floats are how much money we have to enable us to make even more money. The higher the float the higher the earning potential.(usually)
There is a link in post 48 about what we use the floats for ,have a read.
Teadrinker, there are no problems with bodog,Id certainly trust them.I haven t researched the other two books yet.Do you check there sbr ratings?

Been reading this thread with interest. Have toyed with MB for a long time as I am a SAHM so have the time at home (and certainly need the money lol).
The one thing I can seem to find is how much float I need to start with, I mean what is the minimum amount needed to start the process. Even making an Extra £25 here and there would be helpful.

AliBobsy you shouldn't worry about the sheer scale of the floats some people have. You can start with a much smaller amount and slowly build it over time depending on your situation.
I started with a 500quid 0% overdraft but i certainly didnt use anything like all of it at first as I was still treading very cautiously until I understood what i was doing. Depending on the odds and how much you are willing to accept from freebets you could start with a very small float and build it up.
In fact I would personally recommend that as a low risk means of learning the ropes.'Throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbour.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Thanks for your post.
Yeah, I have to admit the £50K seems out of reach now but I will still try. To be honest, my life is so full and productive now it's the last thing on my mind at this moment but will be re-examined in the not too distant future.
Congrats on your cashbacks etc. Every little helps!"So, I've decided to take my work back underground... to stop it falling into the wrong hands..."0 -
I've decided I'm gonna have a bit of a break now(been very lazy sofar anyhow...), save up a float, and go at it something rotton once the footy starts up again.
I've got too much on the next few months, I'll not be able to push my limits as much as I would like to...0
