Morning! *Sooo* true about the lifestyle change, not "a diet". Allergies play havoc with me sometimes - it can seem okay for a few weeks, but then I'll get a terrible attack - late night chocolate, wheat any time, cheese any time. Squirrel - goat and ewe's milk cheese can be okay, just not cows milk cheese. They can taste a bit funny, but there's imitation-Cheddar these days. Once you get clear of the attack, you realise how bad it was making you feel, its astonishing how ill you can feel with allergies without realising it. Good luck, anyway.

Thanks Karma - I like goat's cheese.. unfortunately I also like every other kind of cheese! I've always been a little bit funny with milk so there might be something in it.. sigh. But if it works..

I can so relate, Squirrel! Its awful, and I've carried on missing the foods I know are bad for me ... but the alternative is *so* horrible .... I love cheese too.

  • Ok, washing load number 2 is in and I can hear the haunting moans of the demons whooshing out of the window of dear son's pit.

I'm now having a latte and MSE break!

So true...I couldn't work out why I constantly felt so naff and had constant heartburn....I tried cutting out one thing a month till I found out what it was....Yeast...which considering I could live on bread and marmite, was why I was feeling quite so bad. I can tolerate a bit of toast or a sandwhich maybe once a month but I can feel the effects for days after so I just don't bother.

That's so sad. I hope the media give the family the privacy they need.
