You wouldn't want him writhing all naked and sweaty on top of you then?

We're are flirting with the idea of running in manchester (another reason why you should come!!) but i cannae really see us pulling it off! lol!!!
Friday afternoon is looking best.... i just don't want to deviate from the plan cause it's being done at runclub so there's no scope to push it back a week....
20 minute walk on the plan for sunday, sure i'll manage that while me n beanielou go find our breakfast somewhere in manchester! not paying hotel brekkie prices!
Looks like its going to be Friday afternoon then..:T . That is why I will never do a marathon again as sticking to a plan is such hard work when you have a life other than running and MSE:rotfl: . I wish I could come and you should all don your trainers and do a nice easy half hour run/walk.

Linda, it's Primark, I had a look at the staff handbook, it's very vague. It just says that if I don't work my notice period, it may affect my final payment. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

Are you in a union or can you contact ACAS for advice, can you claim constructive dismissal?

Not in the union, but that ACAS looks good. I'm gonna have to wait till friday anyway to see if they hold my money, no point jumping down their throat if they're gonna pay me anyway. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Blackruby - they should pay you for what you have worked...I am sticking my neck out here and thinking that as a big company they will just cut their losses, pay you what they owe you for time worked and accrued holiday pay.
When I did a big payroll we had people up and leave on occasion and really you can't do a fat lot about it. If you don't pay people what they have worked (despite them not working their notice) [STRIKE]they[/STRIKE] you can claim unlawful deduction of wages and take them to a tribunal.
What we did find a problem (as it was for a company with different shops in different towns) was the manager used to forget to tell us that they had left so we carried on paying them :rotfl:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
