It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Blackruby - they should pay you for what you have worked...I am sticking my neck out here and thinking that as a big company they will just cut their losses, pay you what they owe you for time worked and accrued holiday pay.

When I did a big payroll we had people up and leave on occasion and really you can't do a fat lot about it. If you don't pay people what they have worked (despite them not working their notice) [strike]they[/strike] you can claim unlawful deduction of wages and take them to a tribunal.

What we did find a problem (as it was for a company with different shops in different towns) was the manager used to forget to tell us that they had left so we carried on paying them :rotfl:

That's kinda what I am counting on, that it wont be worth the hassle for them. Though I doubt they'll forget to take me off payroll. One can hope though.

Don't worry, Pania is a well known, long time user of this forum.

I'd book the single room if I were you through Octopus!

They may have to offer a minimum number of rooms through sites like Octopus which will mean they are not available to book directly.
