Bunny - you could try a 'recovery' run. A short run which is an easy pace for about 20 mins....

I am going to give up being a miserable cow for Lent....when does it start?

DD1's birthday today so we are having Indian for tea - she doesn't want to go out as there is something good on the tv:confused: .

I am struggling on CD at the minute. I can manage two CD's during the day - breakfast and lunch but I am eating a dinner at night. I am eating creme eggs too, but my weight has gone neither up nor down. You would think that given that my calorie intake is still a lot lower than it used to be that I would still lose weight  yes  no:confused:

I wish you could come Sally - I am driving to Devon on Sunday so I could take you nearly home :rotfl: , but it means going via Liverpool and I am not sure how I could work that one in...

    Bookie - please come...:D

Bunny, depends if you had been running a while they would suggest a recovery run is a good thing..nice and slow and a short distance. But for anyone starting out they would suggest you let your muscles have a day to heal and repair themselves. I will leave it up to you to decide which category you want to put yourself in

Thanks sammy, I have to work on saturday anyway...I was just dreaming! As for the weight loss I would imagine given the amount of exercise you have been doing that you're not eating enough. Remember the brown team on biggest looser and the young lad getting told he wasn't eating enough to fuel his body and he wouldn't loose weight.

  • I have posh pj's. I shall wander the halls of the Days In so everyone can see! lol

Right all you running/gym gurus-I did 4k last night fastest and longest running I have ever done-feel stiff and a bit sore today. Should I go to the gym tonight or should I rest?
Will be doing 5k tomorrow night.

    rest.....

    IMHO

Edit - or stick to upper arms and stationary leg work at gym... no great cardio tonight, just maybe 5-10 mins....

Thanks Sami B... she was in touch by text last night, saying her first lot of jelly wasn't doing much, another one planned for this morning... hopefully she's well on her way...

When we hear anything, we'll probably update the daily chat, so keep your ears peeled and maybe you can tell the peeps on PG thread...!

    Thanks anyway!
