Only pizzas left in Aberdeen with only roast potatoes for veg with either trifle or cheese or chocs for pud. Tho they did have orange juice left this time . The second end display was empty of £10 deals but they had filled it with bags of potatoes:rotfl: The whole store looked empty of food. Plagues of locusts come to mind or us Aberdonians on payday.
  • Have to say the cappucino cheesecakes are wonderful!

    We had this on Friday

    Chicken with Davidstow cheddar gratin
    Roast potatoes
    Cheesecakes
    Shiraz

I look forwards to the deals and always try to have something different each time - when available....

We had our deal tonight for dinner:

Whole chicken (£6.06) We only ate the breast meat - there are two of us - and will have the chicken legs for lunch tomorrow. The cats even got some chicken too :rotfl:

Parmentier potatos (£2.99) which are lush. I will definitely buy these again.

Hot chocolate fudge cake (£3.49) which we will have tomorrow

The wine I got was the Cote Du Rhone (£4.49) but neither of us drinks at home, so my friend will buy that off me for £3ish.

The total saving on my deal was a whopping £7.03 :j

I am going back to M&S tomorrow to see if they have chickens left and will get another one for the freezer.

First of all the website said it was LARGE chickens, then it became clear that it was actually MEDIUM chickens and the website was misleading people, but in this instance people only ended up with SMALL chickens.
Thanks to all who post constructively.

You were lucky as my local store only seemed to have the small chickens. Thanks for the post above, I agree, it's misleading and I'll be more aware next time as I thought the chickens this time seemed smaller!
