I got money off vouchers for being a shareholder - £2 off a £20 food spend, so I got 2 dine-in deals for £18 - 2 Chicken gratin, 2 mediterranean veg, hot choc fudge pudding (very rich, so big enough for 4 on it's own!), cheeseboard & 2 bottles Australian shiraz. I'll add a few potatoes & that will keep 2 adults & 2 hungry teenagers happy tonight.

Didn't have much choice of main courses by this afternoon, in fact only small chickens at £4 ish each but I am so happy because I have managed to get profiteroles. They have always sold out in the past!
How are people getting hold of these money off vouchers?

Yep my my vouchers are rewards from my &More credit card (paid off ...see my signature:j )
  • I had a £5 money off a £20 spend voucher - I`m an M&S cardholder. I got £35 worth of dinner for two`s for £15. Very pleased.
The profiteroles are very very nice :D

It does now, but if you read all the posts, it clearly shows that it said "large" until sometime earlier today.....

    Blame M&S, not me!! :D
when i read it on hotdeals last week (the list) it said medium.

I can only re-iterate that the M&S website said "large" for an unknown length of time, from when I saw it on Wed until sometime early Thurs morning. a number of other people have already confirmed on their posts that they read it also.

The OP on this thread had pasted the link from Hotdeals on 24/2 & that didn't even mention a size, it just said "Whole Chicken".

Again, I cannot be responsible for M&S changing their website! I only posted something factual that I thought might help........ & have since amended my post accordingly.

In actual fact, in my local store this afternoon, it was only SMALL chickens available in the deal, even though the website still specifies "medium". Again, others seem to have had this size offered, too. Going from Large to Small is one extreme to the other!! And not such a bargain!

IMHO, not having purchased a single deal since New Year, these deals have definitely gone downhill in 2009, I regularly purchased one (if not two) deals a fortnight before Xmas.

    S xx

I found a large chicken on a different shelf - but it wouldn't scan for the deal at the checkout. :o The nice supervisor went to find me the biggest medium one she could. She told me that they'd only had small ones until this morning.
