Right...well I'm glad you've got a garage that will ignore the smaller things on the MOT. The info I gave the OP is based on law and I feel it's better that she does things by the book rather than have to fork out twice if her garage fails her!!'' A man who defends himself, has a fool for a client''0

fair enough
i think the likelyhood of failing is very slim, also this was at three different garages including a council run depot0 -
Depends on how reputable the garage is I suppose. I was failed once for have a letter on my numberplate 5mm out of alignment....However I didnt get on with the garage as their service and supply was shoddy but had no choice under terms of contract to go there and get MOT done!! So I suppose I'm over cautious now.....'' A man who defends himself, has a fool for a client''0

The OP has come here to talk about number plates. If you want to talk about Police speeding or something else where you can slate the Police, start your own thread. All the persons who have contributed have kept to the subject and this thread is nothing to do with speeding.'' A man who defends himself, has a fool for a client''0
