Getting number plates made

I've bought a personal number and need plates made, my local suppliers are motor world and kwik fit but if I use one of these will it have there logo/name on the plates in small writing too? I just want it to be plain.

Sorry, part of the legal requirement now is to have the manufacturers details at the bottom. Can't make them plain anymore!!!

Thats correct, no point looking around for something plain, you wont get it.

I got mine from halfords, and you can barely seen their logo on it. It's tiny and in very, very pale grey print. (That's not why I bought from them - what's the problem with a supplier's logo on it? I just noticed it was barely legible.)

And if the OP's car is registered after 1st Sept 2001, then her car will fail the MOT.....

I didn't know it was a legal requirement, my husband works for police so it will have to be legal!! that means ebay ones aren't legal doesn't it!

The car is a 06 reg, don't want to fail MOT!!!!!! my fiesta just failed and had to be scrapped!!!!!

Know the feeling!!!! Mine's Traffic.....makes everything 10 times worse!!!!

I have never had a problem with passing MOT without the tiny name identifier at the bottom of the plate.

They get away with speeding so why not number plates? It's just a case of waving the warrent card and he'll be on the way.
