Where to eat in York?

ok this is going to sound stupid but someone will know its name. There is a old church its on a corner at the bottom of the road with habitat and waterstone and on the same road where woolworths used to be which is now the new large boots store, its the road behind bettys.

As you guessed no idea what its called or the street name but really good home cooked food and family friendly. Also everytime we have been there its been really busy and been hard to get a table and full of locals and oddly if you were outside you wouldnt even know it was a restaurant / coffee shop.

La Piazza on Goodramgate is our favourite Italian, the garlic bread is to die for and its owed and served up by real Italians. :T

Also a little place called Alley Catz is nice and quaint, it's off stonegate down a little Alley on the right half way down if you are walking towards the Cathedral. Good decent food at a decent price.

Also there is a Little Bettys down Stonegate too. The queue is smaller than the main one.
