Advice on Lloyds response letter please

I sent my first letter of complaint to mis-selling PPI to Lloyds at the end of April which they acknowledged. and I sent a second letter at end of May asking for any news.
By return of post I've just received exactly the same letter as above, marked as their final response and enclosing the FOB leaflet.
Is this the time to complain to the FOB - or do I write back to Lloyds and ask for a response to my specific points about mis-selling, they didn't answer any but gave me the you signed it so you must have known about it response.
And do I tell the Lloyds that I am complaining to the FOB before I do?0 -

Hi there
As long as the 8 weeks have passed you do have that opportunity to take to the FOS and if you want to let lloyds know that is okay too.
You can either ring the FOS for a form or download and print from their website here:

Hi
Thanks for the response.
Only 4 weeks have passed, yet they state it is their final decision, and enclosed the FOB leaflet. Thats why I wonder whether I should complain to the FOB straight away, even though its not 8 weeks yet, or write back to Lloyds querying the letter first0 -

Hiya Alf
If they stated its their "final response" and that you can now move on to the FOS then yes, its time to move on, its just that they have investigated and completed their investigation earlier.
Good luck.;)
Remember to enclose the copy of the final letter with the FOS complaint form. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Melissa, got another response last week just saying that as I didn't provide any extra info they will not change their decision. I was just about to download FOS form and start the complaint process. Do you have any dealings with Lloyds?Official DFW Member no:4100

I got copies of my 2 loan contracts and all they did is point out that i signed it and that their staff never mis-sell which obviously isn't the case...
I have just sent a 2nd letter and am now awaiting a response...They actually offered me £400 compo even though they owe me over £2000 and the letter they was a standard template just with my details on it and they haven't even responded to half my complaints...
Where they have said that they have not mis-sold I have researched Lloyds and added in some comments made about them by the FSA and included the sources...Basically what the FSA has said about them goes completely against what that wrote in the letter to me...0 -

Have you got links to those FSA comments?Official DFW Member no:4100
