Halifax and the farce that is bank charges!

I hate this bank, if I could reduce my overdraft this second and move banks I would. I went into the branch before and had the 'Halifax are god and we will do as we wish talk'. I came out after speaking to a snooty manager and called the complaints number its on one of their leaflets in branch, or you get it through with your statements, Its got a blonde woman on the front (sorry as you can tell I don't have the leaflet anymore). Anyway I called that and explained my problem to them and it was refunded within an hour.

I have had the same sort of problem with halifax but got through to someone very helpful. dh didn't transfer money to our joint account for our bills and 15 dd's went out over three days total charges amounted to over £300 was totally stressed and 7mnths pregnant and told the girl I was going to kill him dh, and that the charges where making sending us into financial hardship and that I realised it wasn't the banks fault was there anything she could do? she refunded all of them except 2/3 which had already been taken from the account but would never again have a charge refunded!
it depends who you speak to and how you speak to them.
