Not too bad thanks, got some bad news though my dad's just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, he is however 81, and I don't think they'll put him to the knife, he's got a lot of tests and "invasive opticals" during the next week.
Hi Adey, really sorry to hear that ......if it is any comfort,I know a 75 year old who was diagnosed last year and has had very sucessful trearment ...a new "procedure" (rather than the knife ) that you coudl only get in the USA previously, and is fighting fit now........."Serious money saving Diva"........................................:p
Whatever the mind can conceive, it can achieve.............:happylove0 -
Thanks for that Sue he and mum who's 85 are very fit they go for a three mile walk most days! His specialist says they hope to treat it with drugs or injections so fingers crossed he'll be OK, as he says no matter what he's had a good innings. In memory of Chris Hyde #8670

Yes, sorry to hear about your Dad. It seems that all 'old' men get this and more often than not it's a very non-aggressive cancer. With any luck it won't effect QOL too much. Annoying, though, to say the least.
Also true that the Gunners should have got more. But ... I'm sure they'll be fine on return leg. They'll have Eduardo back by then giving them more fire power. Also, they have not been conceding goals. I feel quite positive. Better than Man U!0 -

Sorry to hear that Adey, fingers crossed they can control it enough so that he mantains a decent quality of life (or best case scenario cured) before declaration.
Don't become a cybercondriac though - those web medical pages can be very matter of fact and rather alarming, when cases can vary so much from individual to individual.0 -
