I don't know if you saw this one Andrew.
Another very recent one. I'd got an interview. Researched the organization and googled the location of the interview 653 High Street.
Gave myself an extra half hour to spare, put on my suit and new shoes. Hell of a job to park up. It was a huge busy main road. Went to the googled location a boarded up office, with sign moved to 475. Decided to go left and ran like hell, no numbers on any shop doors until no. 71 !!!
Turned and ran back the other way about a mile past where I'd originally started. I was sweating like a pig, literally dripping off me. My new shoes had actually cut into my heels.
I painfully shuffled into the interview room. As I sat there could see the sweat patch across my chest getting ever bigger, and blood was seeping into my pale grey socks which I tried to keep hidden out of view. Sweat was dropping off my forehead onto the paper the interviewers had given me to take notes.
"Don't be nervous" they said.
Knowing the interview was blown.
I replied, "Do you not know the difference between nervous and physical exhaustion!" and stormed out.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

Just a 5 min blitz while bath is running - yes it's very slow to fill !
Viola has a new hobby - audio books. Bloody good value to borrow from the library - only 95p for about 16 CDs! Quite racy stuff she's picked so it seems our daughter will be growing less innocent by the day!
Bonus is that wife's eyes and hands are free to get on with the household chores0 -
Mission Impossible 3 - how did they get away with such nonsense, albeit enjoyable nonsense...maybe the answer's in the title?
This IVA session will self-destruct in 1 minute....0 -
