Hi all
Got to admit that today and probably this week are going to be quite laid back. Baby is nearly a week overdue (tomorrow) and not keen on going far from the house understandably!
Today I have:- done a shop using shopping list and rough menu planner, came in at £41, and that's good averaging out over the month, have a current budget of £200 but hoping to slice around £20 off in the next couple of months by being more stringent!
- made packed lunches for OH and DD1 at work/school respectively for tomorrow - organised or what!:T:T:T
- check online banking - think have final bank charges of the month to come out today
- make HM brownies after DD1 gets home from school.

Been away for a while and things were going great. I hadnt increased my debts at all and had comfortably carried on chipping away at the debts I had. My dog became ill last week and with no insurance I have now increased my debt by £656. The PDSA have kindly agreed to pay £200 and my step mum has said she will pay the rest, and whilst thats very kind, I will have to pay her back, couldnt live with myself if I let her pay it and didnt! Sooo Im here, now jobless and stuck with signing on (when they sort it!), so now I am finding it difficult to pay things off as I was, which set the alarm bells ringing. I also need to reign in my spending, its spiralled right out of control.
Plan of attack:
Do an updated SOA and see how much I should have left over each month.
Do a store cupboard challenge this week.
Start having some NSD.
Bake some goodies for lunch boxes.
Start planning my days so that I can walk rather than jumping in the car! Good practice as I have no car from beg. of may and no realistic way of affording one right now!
Post here to keep me focussed each day.
Get ready for the grocery challenge from 1st march.
Today I have:- Meals from stores
- Checked banking
- Bake cakes for lunch boxes
- Get an early night so that tomorrow I can tackle some stuff head on!
