23/02/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

Morning everyone :hello:

Hope you all had a good weekend!!

Today I have done/will do:
- free scratchcards
- check internet banking
- post old mobiles to envirofone
- post ebay parcel
- met friend in Wetherspoons for breakfast, used luncheon vouchers so cost=69p!!
- HM sushi for lunch
- leftover pasta bake from last night for tea
- rate some dooyoo reviews (don't think I have the inspiration to write one today!)
- check email for any surveys
- check onepoll
- have a LSD (hopefully just the 69p I spent on breakfast!)

Good morning everyone, thank you so much for the kind advice last night re my uni course options. I am going to do it and ignore my mothers comments. Its my choice and my wages paying for it. It will help me towards a better job too. So trying to be positive today!

· I have made a toastie for brekie using up leftover cheese
· Lunch from home
· Dinner from home
· Post off empty ink cartridges for boots points
· Read journal articles for essay
· Send catch up emails to friends
· Look for any piggy clicks
· Look for any freebies
· Enter cokezone points
· Play wii later this eve

heres my list:

• Check online banking to see if i've been paid - no
  
• Enter 1 competition - done
  
• Do daily scratchcard - won 10p yesterday won 40p!
  
• Storecupboard breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Staying at OH tonights so No Spend evening! lol
  
• Update my money database
• Update expenses
  
• Do at least ten pages of OU Coursework - did a whole book!

Morning everyone

Currently full of the cold and not feeling very alive. Oldest is watching tv looking very heavy eyed and youngest is still in bed!! We went to look at houses yesterday, I like quite a few of them but the homes in the area I thought I wanted I did not like. Very disappointing.

Today I have/will

Freebie scratches (10p)
checked online banking
roasted meat for tea this evening
do some more insurance quotes

Morning all :hello:

Today I have/will:

• collected my £100+ win from the bonus ball draw at work :j :j
• decide what to do with it - do I get some dollars for Las Vegas or pay it off a debt or put it into savings - decisions !!!!!!!!!
• check on-line banking and update spreadsheets
• carry on collecting Avon money from colleagues
• got a couple of card orders to do so will try and use the colour printer at work later when my boss is in a meeting
• do daily scratchies
• do daily clicks
• hopefully a NSD - do need stamps for some comp postcards but not sure thats a necessary expense :rolleyes:
• breakfast at home, packed lunch and storecupboard tea
• try and build up my willpower to resist on upcoming QVC craft day on Thursday
• open another web saver so I can transfer all my left over salary this week before payday again - see if I can manage on salary alone without money being carried over each month
• withdraw my first tenner from TAB bingo

Sorry everyone! I thought I'd told the whole world Put down a reservation fee on a house over the weekend and now have to sell mine. Will be totally realistic with an asking price - got such a great deal on the new place that the pressure on the price I need to get for me is much less than it could have been.

Fingers crossed! If it all works out, I should be about £300 a month better off and if I get more than my worst case scenario for mine, enough of a lump sum that I'll be able to pay off my last £3K of credit card debt too. Anything above worst-case would be great rainy day money! Angelflower, will be all mine. No shared ownership and no shared responsibilities - just me rattling around a 4 bed house with the cat. Ha ha! The more I say it, the dafter it sounds!

Could be great, could be crap - let's see! :eek:

Hi Everyone

New week - new DFW challenges!!!!!

I'm out for dinner with friends tonight so it won't be an NSD but it'll be a good night out.

I'm not sure how much time I'll have but I will try to do/have done the following:

• Read a chapter of my text book in time for Thursday's class
• No spend on breakfast, lunch or snacks - I have brought all my food in.
• Check bank accounts.
• Flylady tasks for Monday
• Print off some lecture notes from VLE.
• Parcel up some used stamps to give to a friend for a charity she collects for.
