Yep training going really well thanks Snags!

Had an injury yesterday during a half marathon race - strained tendon - but its nothing serious and I still finished in 2:02:10 so not too shabby! Off out for a nice slow run tomorrow morning and some speed work in the evening - 9 weeks now - its coming fast :D
Ouch - sounds painful  well done for still getting round though, and in a good time too (Well it sounds good to me? My 7k took me an hour, so it's lightning speed by comparison lol!).

Went to The Sanctuary once (in my young, free, single and slim days) and it cost me over £100 then (we're talking circa 1988 here) so I dread to think how much it would cost now.

    Where did you go?

Well it was less than that today.....very very good value for money....

we went to the lion quays in oswestry....

Marathon running is hard - its the slogging away week by week thats tough - but for me breaking it down into mini targets has been really helpful and setting further targets - races pre marathon to set targets for and I'm running in April, but I'm doing another marathon in October hopefully - so even if London goes wrong or I miss my target then there's another opportunity to get it :D

Same with the training - you just find ways to fit it in - get up earlier, stay up later, break it into chunks - its totally possible! I love it still, even when it goes wrong - its just another challenge to overcome (god that sounds sad :))!
