Bother it has started to rain!

I've done the last drawer of the desk and placed a collection with natural collection (got 10% off, Quidco 10% and free delivery so quite pleased).

    Afternoon everyone

SarahS - hope all goes well at the hospital this afternoon
Rosepink - hugs love - hope they sort the money pdq
diva - hugs love, I hope Tristan finds peace and his family have strength

Snuck off work at lunchtime today. I'd completed the brain aching task so, with my boss's permission I've come home. Not much for me to do until Monday anyway. Could still do with those new fin year funding vibes if anyone's got a moment.

Kazw - I posted your parcel on the way home
Rosepink - the postman's left a 'tried to deliver' ticket so hopefully that's your parcel.

I've made an appointment for the dog at the vet's this afternoon (it amazes me how it's so easy to get an appointment with the vet but you need to be at death's door before you get to see a human doctor!). She needs her boosters and some worm tablets. Also, last week when she cut her mouth on the tin, I noticed a little spot thing on the underside of her chin. It seems to be getting bigger so I'll get the vet to look at that too. I can pop into the sorting office on the way back from there.

I'm now going to dig in the freezer for venision, defrost it, and stick it in the slow cooker for tonight. I shall use my electric gizmo on it to see how much it uses.

I might even wash the hall floor again .... DS has trailed mud through it from his bike

    so do I!

Rosepink - the postman's left a 'tried to deliver' ticket so hopefully that's your parcel. Hope so. If you open it carefully you can use th bin bags its wrappd up in!

(it amazes me how it's so easy to get an appointment with the vet but you need to be at death's door before you get to see a human doctor!).
Th difference is that you pay th vet money!

Wendy Richard th actress has died. Sad. She was so good in Dad's Army.

Just got back from the library - got four books out including R is for Ricochet.
I was feeling brave so had a wander round the Thursday market - turns out the mega expensive butchers shop has a stall there and the meat is a fraction of hte price it is in the shop! Got a big pack of minted lamb chops - in th shop it's £11.68 and on the stall £3.99! Wow, they had loads of bargins but it's cash only so I will go back with wads of the stuff and fill up the freezer another week. Also the veg stall looked good, will have to investigate that. I noticed a bag of 10 onions for £1 so hopefully th other veg will be cheap too!
Sorry for the intermittent 'e' it dosn't want to play today!

    Big hugs to you Diva

Am not in the mood today for flying! Will try to hav a go at the bathroom. Can't do the bed because the quilt cover/sheets ar still in th wash from when I changed it last week! We usually only need to change it very 2 weeks anyway.

I got an appointment at the Doc's yesterday and she's doagnosed a viral infection which has got into my joints (so apologies for bad typing - stiff hands :o ). She said it was important for me to keep moving, and was impressed by "light housework" so back to it ;)
