Sarahshattered - congrats on the interview, you are doing really well to get an interview in the current market. I have circulation problems and get chillblains. Sheepskin slippers really help, as do furry lined boots. The old wives tales around not sitting too close to the fire/hot baths are actually true, be careful of rapid temperature changes - cold feet in very hot bath sets mine off.
Diva - hugs for you.
Jo - I bought a 'how to knit' magazine as I hadn't done any knitting for years. I can post it to you if you want? Do you need some needles and wool to try with?
Just back from work so nothing done off the list yet. Can't do anything until DH has finished his conference call in our bedroom. Not even done the DW yet, I knew I would struggle as soon as I went back to work.

oooo hex that would be fab!!!
I went to Dunelm at lunchtime to have a look - but had no idea what sort of needles to buy, type of wool etc etc. Am going to do some investigation on the internet tonight as well!!
I had no idea knitting was such a complex business! x
Will log on and talk properly when I get home!
Good luck flying ladies! xSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Dusty - I've deliberately avoided knowingly buying Bernard Mathews' stuff for years
Rosepink - thank you so much for the parcel. I was careful with the unwrapping so can use the bin bags. I'll add them to DD's pile of stuff which will hopefully be decluttered in the next week. PM me your address and I'll send you the postage - it was quite a lot!
The vets? Well. I'm about to have an early G&T. I'd only noticed the dog's little spot last week. I told the vet this and said I thought it had grown. She said to keep an eye on it for the next couple of weeks and if it grows any more, I'm to take the dog back and have it taken off. Seems malignant things tend to be fast growing, benign things aren't. So that's a big worry suddenly plonked on my shoulders. Talked to DS when he got in from work and he said that he had noticed it about a month ago (but didn't tell me!). He doesn't think it's grown since he noticed it. Hey ho, we shall see what the next couple of weeks bring....
I did clean the hall floor and put the venison stew on. The SC does seem to be very economical. It's been on about 3 hours now and only used 0.32 kWh so far.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi all
Thought I'd better update my lists - started an hour ago but ended up reading some amazing inspirational stories on The Jennifer Trust website - one of my dear friends lost her daughter who was the same age as my two girls and she had a lot of support from this charity. It had put all my moans and groans into perspective and made me feel very grateful for what I have.
Sorry - not really flying related but had to say it.
