I think Pigpen specified that you had to test it WITHOUT setting fire to the house ;)

Thanks GnB... I'll have to get my act together and do some posting while I'm not up to anything else. And I can check for stalkers too :p there's usually someone avoiding their flying!

In the end I didn't get to clean up before she came so she has seen it pretty much as bad as it gets.. she vacuumed up water from the kitchen floor and said the boys must have done it (vacuuming glitter from the hallway.. erm.. no.. but anyway).. it took 2.5 hours to get the kitchen HALF DONE! It is 20ft x 11 ft so not small anyway.. and it does easily take that long. She said next week she'll do the back room .. and I just said no I want the bathroom doing next week because I'm struggling to do it and it is desperately in need.

In all I think it is a case of wait and see how I deal with it because she had to keep asking me questions I still never got anything done but hopefully that will be ok when we have got her sorted and she knows where everything is... theoretically at any rate!

It will get better, she wont be asking as many questions next time and it always takes longer when it's a new job/first time, as the weeks go by and she gets to know what you want and how you like it , it'll be fab I promise and she'll leave you alone - well she should do.... did you like her?

skip run done, littley picked up, went to Asda, scoffed tea it was lovley but was too watery so it's still trial and error, council came to do the other job that I'd put in for.... at 6pm ....the appointment was for 11 March

Had enough for one day I've actually been none stop since 7.30 this morning, time to chill and settle down.

    Night folks x

ETA: Hope you feel better soon Greenbee x

Oh and ~~~~~~ vibes~~~~~~ to all those that wanted them.
    I'm really going now x
  • mummyyof5 hope you feel better after a rest.
raychee yes the novelty does wear off but the good thing is that all the cleaning you are doing while new and enthusiastic does make it easier to keep up with things later on when you have something better to do! Well done for your first week - you have done loads.
toochoosey the pinky purple star I gave last week was for all 5 lists - remember extras dont count towards the stars - so you had done all the lists - so you will have to do them again this week!!!
have a (((hug))) greenbee I hope you feel better in the morning

I have managed 85 things so far
