    morning all

working from home today and as well as quite a bit of work and a phone confrerence I have 3 appointments (eyebrows which only takes 5 mins, hair and opticians). I will have to make up some work time tonight after helping with girls' brigade but that's ok as DH will be studying.

Eyebrow appt at 11am, I have no cash so hoping they'll let me pop back later and pay as I'll be passing the cashpoint later anyway. Bit annoying as hair is at 12 and opticians at 2.50 so lots of to-ing and fro-ing.

toots- lent officially starts today, but the 40 days does not include Sundays. Some people would say that traditionally you can break your fast (i.e. eat what you like) on Sundays and feast days.

Morning all. School run, and post office run done so need to get to it.
Bathroom is pretty ok at the mo, due to having to clean it everytime we come home(wild dog lives in there when we are out of the house) so I am going to tackle my study today.
Need to find homes for all my crafty bits and bobs. Got some little storage boxes and folders and stuff so we'll see how it goes.

Also need to sort living roo, quick tidy and mop the floor should do. Got DP family visiting tonight(if they DO come, their likkle puddy cat passed away last night) and they are bringing his grandad who hasnt been to visit us yet!! So DP wants to impress him.

Anyhoo, must get a cuppa down my neck then will make a start!

    Morning ladies

Managed to get DS3 to school without murdering him which believe me was an achievement today - must get him some more omegas today.

Emily and Polly hugs and hope you are both feeling more like your old selves soon

Mudbath and PenPen get well soon vibes for you two

FunFair - what made the ceiling fall in? Always reminds me of Chicken Lickin

Nicki hope your assessment went well

OJ - a friends hubbie (ex banker) is thinking of retraining to be a teacher and he is 40. There has been something like a 10% increase in people applying in the past 6 months. Amazed you have read 70 of the books - have you read 'The Twits' and 'Bridget Jones' in those?

Sad news about David Cameron's son.

Just finishing my cuppa and then I have to get to town this morning. Be back at lunchtime.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

  • Morning All :) well after a couple days at work / college I've got a VERY long list to catch up on!!!!
I don't know if its because we've been decorating or cause I'm doing much more cleaning than normal but I don't seem to be making a dent in the cleaning at all!!! Maybe I should just resign myself to having a dirty house :(

Oh well better get myself motivated for a quick 1/2 hour cleaning!!
    Food budget: Nov £80 / 2.33 /0.00/0.00/00.00(.)
Splurges (if I list them here I might remember I've already treated myself!!(.)
