Evening everyone and welcome new people

Crafty scholar - did you get the plate fitted in the end?
Rosepink - thankyou. I'll let you know when it arrives safely.
Likklegibbon - lots of foot healing vibes for you dad
Natty - hope things are OK with you.
Hugs to the other poorly ones
Toots - don't over do it!
Sexym - sending you good trial day vibes for Friday

Meeting done - fortunately it didn't go on too long. But, after a heavy day at work, I'm now quite pooped. I shall gently fly in a moment - fortunately the living and hall etc. are up pretty much up together.

I got my final electric bill from my old provider today and the average cost of electricity over the last 18 months is £85.00 per month now  With the gas averaging at £65.00 per months that's a ridiculous amount of money to be having to pay.

So, I'm continuing doing the readings but I am going to have to rethink my dinner menus. I did an electric reading before and after cooking roast dinner last night and my fan oven certainly uses a lot of juice. I think we're going to be having a lot more stirfrys and hob top stews rather than casseroles and roasts! I must also work out the cost of using the slow cooker to see if it really is cheaper using that (albeit running for 8 or so hours) than a quick 1.5 hours of the fan oven.

Tonight, dinner will be bacon and pepper pasta I think! Tomorrow night is already planned to be chicken stoup from the remains of yesterday's carcass.

:eek::eek: I've been here since March 2003... guess I'm an oldie then :o:o

I've just given DD the most vile cough medicine ever :o:rotfl::rotfl: But her cough is getting worse and I only have 10 days left of my NVQ course and I'm being assessed twice before then so I can't afford to take the time off... or procrastinate here.

So....off to sort out the TD to see if DD's coat is dried then guess what I'll be doing...yep Unit 1! :o IF I get that finished I might put Hereos on tonight while I do unit 2 & 3 ;)

    can't believe there's 13 pages already!

there'll be almost no chance of me getting a star this week - i've put my back out:o was at physio at lunchtime (begged for an appt) and a lovely, very petite lady almost killed me!!!!!!!!!!! the pain, the pain...

anyhoo, i have to take painkillers, use an ice pack, rest and repeat:confused:

so dh, dd and ds are on they're own and as much as i love them, if i'm not 'supervising' it's amazing what doesn't get done.

hugs to me;) and everyone else who needs them

Beavers done - went to visit Nan whilst DS3 was there and she was delighted to see me, a good use of an hour.

When we picked up from beavers the leader said she had found a toddler wandering the street on here way to the church in bare feet and no coat. The police do not know where she is from so she is now at the station - very scarey. Wonder if she got out without her parents knowing - what a fright.

Right time to start the bedtime routines.
