Quick Help Needed Pls!! Virus!! System Security

Don't think it has removed system security as I am still getting pop ups.

Okay, have just run the Malware again and this time it found 3 infected objects. I will post the log below. It stated that all items were removed successfully. However I still have the system security icon showing. Will this disappear when I reboot?? Here is the Malware log

Just as I posted that log, I had another pop up from system security :mad: Will I ever get rid of it or is my computer bu**ered!!!

I have now rebooted system again and the system security is still there and popping up warnings! How can I get rid of this please?????

You might try restarting in safe mode (tap F8 repeatedly as it's starting up) and running a Malwarebytes' scan then.

Thanks, do you think that will work as each time I reboot I lose my internet connections and I have trouble reconnecting (only since I got this system security thing!)

I can't see how I can get rid of it as it's not showing up in any of my programs and the icon itself has no uninstall option?

Restarting in safe mode should restrict what starts up with Windows. If System Security isn't running, it should be a lot easier to remove.

Okay, I have tried 3 times to start my PC in safe mode but it won't let me. Each time I get the message "use the up and down arrows to highlight mode" the arrows won't move highlight bar away from "start windows normally". But the arrows work any other time.

I really can't see how I'm gonna get rid of it.

Any help appreciated.

You probably have a USB keyboard? They tend to NOT work when trying to enter 'safe mode'

Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

UPDATE and PERFORM COMPLETE SCAN


Then do a fresh hijack log (Or if SAS wont run, run a hijack log anyways)

Doesn't Spybot have a feature that allows it to run before Windows starts up?
