Why does this offer say 'Ended' ?

I can still add this to my basket for £5.01 each

I am not ordering as I don't drink vodka, but I have 4 in my basket.

I thought I'd start the ball rolling on ideas for the max enjoyment of cheap vodka.
[glow=red,2,300]Vodka Cocktails[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Tatanka[/glow] - Mix apple juice and Vodka in a 2:1 ratio, and serve in a tumbler with ice. [glow=red,2,300]Metropolitan[/glow] - large (50ml) shot of vodka and a small (25ml) shot of each of the following - Cointreau, fresh limejuice and cranberry juice. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass.
[glow=red,2,300]Moscow Mule [/glow]- Fill a highball with ice, and add a large (50 ml) shot of vodka. Squeeze a lime into the glass . Top up with ginger beer stir and serve with a straw.
[glow=red,2,300]Vodka Espresso [/glow]- Into a shaker ½ filled with ice, add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, a large shot of freshly made espresso coffee, a dash of sugar syrup and a dash of Kahlua. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Guaranteed to "wake you up, and then f*** you up".
[glow=red,2,300]Bloody Mary [/glow]- Into a shaker ½ filled with ice add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, 200ml of tomato juice, Tabasco (between 2 and 10 dashes, 2-3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a teaspoon of horseradish sauce, a dash of port or red wine, the juice of ¼ of a lemon, and a quick grind of salt and pepper. Shake and strain into an ice-filled highball.
[glow=red,2,300]White Russian [/glow]- In a shaker 2/3 filled with ice add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, and a small (25ml) shot of Kahlua. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Layer a small shot of single cream over the top, by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
[glow=red,2,300]Anouchka[/glow] - Into a shaker ½ filled with ice add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, and two dashes of crème de mure. Stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
[glow=red,2,300]Dillitini[/glow] - Into a shaker ½ filled with ice add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, a small (25ml) shot of aquavit, and a handful of fresh dill. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
[glow=red,2,300]Detroit Martini [/glow]- Into a shaker ½ filled with ice, add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, a dash of sugar syrup, a dash of orange bitters and a sprig of mint. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with another sprig of mint.
[glow=red,2,300]and last but not least - my personal favourite[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Harvey Wallbanger [/glow]- In an ice-filled highball add a large (50ml) shot of vodka, and top up almost to the top with fresh orange juice. Stir, and then float half a small (25ml) shot of Galliano on top. Serve with a straw.

The promotion was:

Valid for deliveries between 8 December and 4 January.

The promotion above was clearly stated on all pages of the website, but when a Smirnoff Blue Vodka 1 litre was added to the basket, the amount displayed in the basket was 5.01 GBP.

We are writing to let you know that you ordered this product between this time, and as a result the incorrect price would have been displayed in your basket. When the Smirnoff Blue Vodka 1 litre is delivered to your door, your receipt will reflect the correct price of 14.98 GBP as displayed on the pages of the website where you added the product.

My vodka just arrived (only 5 of the six bottles I ordered).  
I immediately phoned Tesco to complain and spoke with a very nice lady who asked if I had received an email from them (presumably the one above, which I haven't received).
When I said no she said sorry and said she would refund the difference to my payment card.

WAHOOOOOOOO!!! ;D ;D ;D

5 bottles of quality vodka for just £31.04.

I assume when you phone up to complain, and you have received this email, you could just tell them you didn't - although that would of course be down to your own conscience!

p.s. This isn't just any old vodka - it's "export strength" 45% proof. Gonna be some great shot drinking for some of my mates this Xmas!
