for all you who have booked the flight go to BA website > Manage my bookings > Request seats
This site runs through what the seats are like: http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/British_Airways/British_Airways_Boeing_747-400_A.php

Best place to sit is by the wing, it's quieter and stronger apparently. Still it's closer to the door for those of us that like to get off the plane as soon as.0

let's hope the wing don't fall off...or i'll in a right gafuffle0

I managed to book for 2 at 6:30 this morning. So hubbie's birthday present is now sorted ;D
I did see the offer of hotels via BA and was in time to book a three star hotel at a cost of £16 for both of us for the 8 days of our visit.
However, we decided that we had saved so much on the flights that we would splash out and go 5 star and so put a bid in on priceline.com. We got the JW Marriott at a total cost for both of us of £451.90
Total cost of 8 days in HK is
Flights £272.80
Hotel £ 451.90
Total £724.70
meaning it has cost us £362.35 each or breaking that down even further it works out at £45.29 per night (including those spent on the plane ::) )
You can't even stay in a decent hotel in the UK for that sort of money.
Excellent post

got a BA exec card
You cant get tier points on this flight which is a big shame though.
but i always travel BA and use the exec card. You can log in and check in for departage at LHR and H.kong, request meals, seats etc
good fun0 -
now for the icing on the cake, i'm going to try and get a free upgrade at the airport ;D0

lol u will never get that, priority falls to the silver/gold card holders,
i'd be very surprised if it worked. I fly with them twice a month and gets never worked0
