Free Starbucks Coffee everyday 20/02-21/04/09

Took yesterday's Guardian voucher into a nearby Starbucks (never been there before) about half an hour before they closed last night.

I asked for the Estima and showed them the voucher but they were cleaning the filter machines so offered me a series of alternatives I could have instead. Ordered a Latte to go.

When it was handed to me I enquired if they had any of the Estima promotional cards available to give out.
One was produced from the side of the till.
I thanked her and enquired if was possible to have a second card for my other-half.
No problems, 2nd card handed over.

Didn't have the same luck. I tried and asked for a card in a Starbuck in Soho and the girl behind the counter told me they were only giving them out to regular customers

also a coupon on the guardian each day if you're too scared to ask without one!!!

do i have to have one of their loyalty cards to get this or just generally walk in and ask for one? am heading to town this morning so might have to ask!!! i love coffee! lol. maybe a bit too much!

I couldn't find it on their website, it only has about their prepaid card. There's a website link on the back of the card but it only takes you to their Fair Trade info. It seems they are for their 'regulars', surely we all would be if they gave us a card;)

I tried today at the outlet in Borders in Dundee. Didn't have any luck as they said they'd run out - they only got a certain amount in. How long are the coupons in the Guardian going for? Is this for a shorter timescale or until the beginning of April as well?

I was out shopping this afternoon, saw Starbucks, went in and asked about their card giving the free coffee. The lady assistant was very helpful and gave me a card and a coffee.

Will certainly make use of this card whilst I can!
