If your not happy with the way that chickens are brought up

    then there is a

vent, bent and heaven sent section

you could feel free to vent your anger, there, where it should be, not on the grabbit board,

it's every time there is cheap chicken, us that buy it, and yes i do, are preached to about the way the poor chickens are raised, usually followed by a picture of some sad looking chicken.
Stardrops is 40p in my Asda Telford, are you sure yours was 20p WHERE feel and email coming on

there is a thread on this somewhere on this page, seems some are selling it for 40p and some 20p

I don't care what people do, but people constantly battering down other people's opinions can be just as annoying. People are allowed to express an opinion (whatever it is, within reason) without being told they're trying to dictate to other people.

There are people on both sides of the argument here who could be accused of trying to 'dictate to others'. That equally applies to the pro cheap chicken side, some of whom can be aggressive, labour the point and get personal yet always try and make themselves out to be reasonable and moderate.

Mostly what people seem to dislike is other people expressing negative opinions about their behaviour but that is allowed.

I also don't agree with the view that just because you don't have money, ethics have to go out the window. It's just a matter of finding an alternative, or going without. It's hardly likely anybody on here is going to starve and be unable to find something else they can eat as they trundle down the supermarket aisles looking at thousands of items on the shelves.

Sorry but I cannot agree this is grab a bargain forum if you do not want the bargain PASS, I do not think that the OP should be subject to the amount of abuse
that seems to be happening on here, Did the OP offer it up for discussion, I think not.

I think that sounds like a good idea. If they really are that bothered about it then why not discuss it with like minded people. And I bet when someone comes in to disrupt their discussion they will be up in arms about it.

If I wanted to talk ethics I would find somewhere else to discuss it, not on the Grabbit section lol.

Glad to post offer - to those who wanted it - I really dont understand the mentality of people who look for a post that does not interest them and add their comment to put us others off. I only comment on posts that interest me. I will be roasting mine tomorrow and dont feel bad about it at all!! ( I did buy an organic chicken once 4 times the price but didnt really notice the difference to be honest.)

I think you're misunderstanding the point. If you feel that strongly that nobody should be allowed to discuss anything, then it would be consistent to make the same point on every single other thread in the Grabbit forum which contains irrelevant comments and opinions, apart from just the ones where you disagree with them.

Enjoy - because you'll spend half your day doing it.

But the discussion is not about the welfare of chickens. If it was then people would welcome your contribution.

It's about an offer on at Asda that a lot of people appreciate!!!

Note my usage of word 'irrelevant' - ie any posts on any thread in Grabbit not pertaining to the original subject matter.

If you go look, you'll find plenty. I can't be bothered to write anything more if you're going to willfully misunderstand it or not read it properly. I'll leave you to it ;)

hmmmmmmmm I think you are misunderstanding.

This thread is not asking for opinion it's simply there to offer a bargain, so why feel the need to comment on something that doesn't appeal to you?

Was your intention to start an argument or wind people up? Because that's how it looks. I suspect a lot of the chicken brigade are out to do just that.
