    I would think at least half my stock is listed at only acceptable or good.

    I have sold 7 books today though so one of my best days for almost a year. Two of those books were actually sold after getting the poor feedback, so all may not be lost.

    Odd how much it hurts though, I keep going and looking at the feedback again just to torment myself.

    Yeah i'm feeling you. I just got hit with 3 stars tonight too. It was a brand new cd as well and it appears the case must've got cracked in transit despite being in a jiffy bag. My buyer left me neutral stating that it was not new as i had described. I don't unserstand why she wouldnt have contacted me to resolve it first especially saying as i always send a polite dispatch email stating that if they have any probs with the order they shouldnt hesitate to email me.
    Ah well im off for a spot of self flagellation to help take my mind off it.

    I'm the same, I always email the buyer and give them the condition of the book and also say that if they have any questions or concerns to contactt me so I can resolve it.

    Then nada, nothing just a neutral. I wonder if the buyer went back realised she had bought an acceptable book rather than a nearly new one and was embarrassed to ask for a refund (which I would have course given) so just left poor feedback instead because she was cross at herself.

    My Amazon sales have been really slow the past couple of weeks. How about everyone else's. Although my ebay ones are doing really well.
  • Mine has been the other way round. I had a slow start with Amazon and now stuff is flying out. when i started doing Ebay selling a few months ago i was doing really well. Now i am lucky if i sell one thing out of ten.

    I read ages ago on here about a Sean Bean biography that sells really well on amazon. Is this the same one;

    £1.50 in my local charity shop - saw it this lunch time, tempted to leave work and go and get it!

    That one is certainly a seller, the sales rank is quite good, I'd risk £1.50 on that!

    Surely a quick run to the 'chemist' would be in order. I am old enough to remember when telling a boss I needed to go to Boots urgently got me out of work for a good 15 minutes on the basis they wouldn't dare ask what I needed to buy!
