Clairol, well done on your quidco things and your bingo wins, lady luck was certainly on your side and am sure it will be great for the debt busting!!
Golden goose, the present stash is just where you get presents through out the year and put them aside for birthdays and Christmas. I have all birthdays for this year sorted, all of Christmas except nice, nephew and OH and some pressies for next year!! Its where you pick up gifts at great prices, eg sales, car boots, unwanted presents, charity shops.
I picked up three lovely presents the other day for £2.00. All of them were worth over £5 individually so was very chuffed!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

MOrning all!
Hope everyone is ok - I'm off to the Metrocentre today with DS to spend his birthday money, so I'll be having a bit of a send too, no doubt  Am meeting some girs I used to work with for tea later in Wethersoons, so that shouldn't be too expensive
Today's list:
- post here to keep me on track
- completed first pinecone survey
- update spending diary
- enter at least 10 comps
- dry washing on airer
- check freebies board
- free scratchcard - 20p today :j - I keep getting emails on a Friday saying I'll get 50p for logging in, but I'm not getting them.....anyone else not getting the bonus? NOt sure what to do as I don't want to draw thier attention to the fact I only do the free scratchcard
- complete any surveys i get
- wrap niece's pressies from stash - got in sale for £4 total - worth around £15! write her card which was free from greetz.co.uk and use wrapping paper that cost 5op instead of £2.50!
- no heating on
think that's about it for today - have a good one everyone!

Hello Every1 - I'm a newbie on here but will be aiming for the following;
Daily Clicks
Heating Turned Down
Fire Off
Wash at Lowest Setting
Do Not Use Tumble Dryer
List Items on Ebay
List Books on Amazon
Enter Competitions
Bake Own Bread
Think that's enough to start off with. Interested in Daily Scratchcards but not sure what they are and also confused over how you pay tax on Mystery Shopping jobs. Must find out about those.

Can I ask what kind of things you stock up on?
Reason I ask is cos obv you cant buy clothes, in case they are the wrong size and the recipient wants to return the item.....
Do you do the same with the cards?
I also seem to have a ton of wrapping paper as I used to buy paper everytime and got home to find I had loads left that I could have used! DOH!** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010

Morning all,
I didn't get much done yesterday evening after Abbey and their stupid charges almost drove me up the wall. However, today is a new day and I refuse to give up!
Today I will;- Call Abbey and try and get them to refund the bounced DD charge
- Write letter to gym for cancellation
- Put a wash on and take the damn clothes off the airers!!
- Write shopping list for weekly shop tonight
- Print off cinema times for tomorrow
- Cook dinner
- Check online banking for all cards and accounts
- Post off the DD form for CC that has been sitting in my desk at work for the past week!
- Update spreadsheet

A lot of what i buy is bath stuff, i have found quite a few really nice sets unopened in the charity shops. Also toys for children from superdrug or ELC. I also use my mystery shops to get presents, such as some jewellry i bought for someone recently. Also i got a beautiful paper chase notebook from the charity shop for 50p, still sealed which my friend will absolutely love. My family love me to you bears and i picked up two from the charity shop the other day still with tag and box, for £1.99 each instead of £8.50 each.
I also stock up on cards and wrapping paper!! Its good money saving but its also great as you may see things that a person will love but its not their birthday etc so don't think to buy it. It's also more convenient as you don't have to rush out at the last minute and if your having a tight month it doesn't matter as you have already got the present.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I do the present stash too. They're all kept in a drawer in my spare room. along with leftover wrapping paper, christmas bits and pieces (lots of lovely decos from crackers that I will recycle into cute present ties etc). I have bubble bath stuff too, and always a stash of kids toys as my son is at that age when he constantly gets invited to birthday parties. I find places like The WOrks really useful; you can often get three for two on things like baking sets, dinosaur kits, all that kind of thing.0
