    Just to keep the mood down

    My mother has just had her boiler condemd, she has anot much better than useless breakdown insurance and they have deemed it not "ecconimical viable" to repair and offered £200 for a new one
    crappy Npower:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Would she be entitled to any grants from the council for this?

    Also get a few more quotes, don't just go with what npower have said.

  • Googled tenant's rights to see where I stand. I think it can be sorted with a 'Please don't come into my room anymore. It's my space and I'd appreciate if you respected that.' My housemate is gonna flip when he hears about this, he hates the way that the landlord is constantly flirting with me and always contacts me about stuff to do with the house, even stuff not to do with me.
    Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

    OK, I'll ring them first thing Monday.

    I was actually surprised they didnt ask me to go for a follow up appointment, just made one for 6 months.

    She would have only wanted a fixed appointment if she'd placed a suture that needed removing after 1 week.
    ...or if it didn't bleed at all when the tooth came out because if that happens a dry socket is more likely.

    Is it even worth her having this policy if she's not covered for when things like this go wrong?

    It'd be better to cancel the policy and save the same amount that she pays them so that when this kind of thing does happen she's got the money there to sort it out.
