Good, as long as the pain isn't getting worse and the socket feels to be getting gradually shallower and smaller you should be ok.
Avoid letting food pack into it when you're eating, still rinse gently.

No, it's not getting worse. It's like a constant dull toothache. I'm still rinsing with salt water, and cleaning regularly but gently

They must have a dentist on call in case of emergencies on their answerphone if things do get bad.
If you have trouble over the weekend call them for that number or NHS Direct for your local out of hours emergency dentist

Still worth asking for a very quick appointment on Monday just for the dentist to check the socket and make sure it's healing ok.

OK, I'll ring them first thing Monday.
I was actually surprised they didnt ask me to go for a follow up appointment, just made one for 6 months.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
