Hey Linda I think you are still catching up on the thread but Sall's hubby lost his job :(

    Oh bloody hell.
I should have read on before posting.

    Sally that's awful.

Yes, booze is what I need :D

Nuts would definitely stop the pain, and everything else for that matter

Keep taking the painkillers as required, it will be sore for about a week after the extraction. You have to remember you had a surgical extraction and you will be sore and bruised in that area.

It I were you I would phone the practice and ask if the dentist who did the extraction can fit you in for 2 mins just to check the socket to put your mind at ease.
She may want to pack some of that brown fibry stuff in the socket (painless) just to help the healing. better have it checked today then wait and s0d's law it's causes probs over the weekend.

Don't be fobbed off by the receptionist either, if they are not helpful ask to speak to the dentist herself or her nurse.

I'd phone them now, the earlier you phone, the more likely they are to fit you in.

  • I've texted BB... just asking how she was and that we were missing her on the thread...
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • ...waits for spud to return and tell us what time they've fit her in.

They dont open on a Friday afternoon hun :o

If it's still sore on Monday, I'll ring first thing and go down. You're right, it was quite a long procedure, so it's likely to be sore I suppose. Maybe I'm just being soft, or daft for stopping taking the painkillers
