getting married - low key and really cheap

Hi! - Again, Congratulations on your future wedding! :j
I got married 3.5 yrs ago, very cheaply! We went to Bath which has a lovely registry office (cost £~100) and nice scenery for photos, made a long weekend of it. Invited 4 friends, as I have quite a large family and to invite them all would have been v. expensive!
I bought a dress from Debenhams for aprox £100, my husband got a new suit from M&S for less than a £100.
Had a lovely meal at an expensive restaurant, went all out, but because there were only 6 of us it was reasonable (<£300 3 course with champagne)! Stayed 2 nights in a luxury B&B which was about £60/room a night.
So, all in all, cost about £720, but had a really good time! Left us lots of money for a long expensive £££££ honeymoon!
The most important thing was marrying the person you love :A , not the actual wedding!, so don't worry too much about it.
Good luck!0
