    Thank you.

Just called my local branch and they are keeping 2 for me. One for us and one for our son.

£19.99 without the films or £34.99 with 5 films which he said there is a selection I can choose from if I want the £34.99 package.

    They were really helpful.

Just called the store where i got it from and they said they were only selling it in the deal. I BOUGHT MINE ON IT'S OWn. It is worth waiting if they say they are only selling it in the £34.99 for another member of staff
  • Well worth doing, IMO

I bought mine at £24.99 with 2 discs, about 6 months ago. It's a fantastic little machine, and comes with the full 360 remote.

HMV have been selling discs at £2.99 for months now, and I've managed to get a collection of about 20 films. Yes, there'll be no new films released, but it doesn't stop me watching the HD films I already have :) To put a disc in one machine instead of another isn't really much trouble for me.

This deal with 5 discs is an absolute bargain.
  • I'd recommend it to be honest, especially if you have an Xbox 360.
I picked one up nearly a year ago and have just over 20 DVDs, having rarely paid more than £3 thanks to HMV and Gamestation.
I have all 5 Harry Potters, Heroes Season 1, the Bourne trilogy, amongst others and just picked up the Matrix Trilogy for £12.
The quality is outstanding, and one of the best features is viewing the extras whilst watching the movie.

You just have to do a bit of digging around to find the rarer titles at decent prices.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for old films e.g. anything older than 10 years as they are just cleaned up pictures and tend to be a bit grainy.

And just as a pointer, while HMV sell for around £3 (and try CEX for pre-owned ones), in the US they still sell for stupidly high prices!!!
