Gamestation are selling brand new hd dvd drives for £24.99 however if you buy that and 10 films it will only cost £34.99. These can be used for computer because i think you plug them into a usb port. I think it comes with a remote control but i am not sure. This offer is not online. Started today in shops.

Why the hell would you want this anyway? HD-DVD is a defunct format, you will be hard pressed to find any HD-DVD discs, and no new titles will ever be released for this format.

You might want to do this to get the equivalent of 10 HD movies at £3.50 each, with the means to play them thrown in for free (assuming you have an Xbox 360 or capable PC already).

I think it's a great deal - popped to my local Gamestation today and they said they had had some stock in, but wouldn't know what the deal actually is until tomorrow. I'll pop back in then.

If you need an external usb DVD drive (for a netbook etc) & want to fill your catalogue of HD movies, it's a fantastic deal.

Ofcourse, it's realy down to what HD DVD's they have available, as to how good of a deal this is..... hence my previous question.
