Ive had my order from the 20th delivered. Everything well packed and fine, the new courier seems fine too (I wasnt there but there didn't seem to be any problems).

The only thing I noticed was that the mini tarts had a 'use by date of 28/02/09' rather than best before so i'd better get them eaten sharpish.
I didn't get a despatch email- in answer to Jaytin.
I'm going to freeze the tartlets- that is a good point about the date though I'm not sure they would harm you- just maybe go soft?
EDIT- read the rest of the comments- they have butter in them but tasted fine. Nothing else that might go off.

Got my order from 19th delivered today, by the alternative courier, all intact, well packaged and very heavy!!
Only fault is no despatch notice. I normally walk or cycle to work, but take the car if I am expecting a delivery. Did take car today as it is persisiting down, but boxes would have filled the office if I hadn't!

I was reading the thread just now, to find out when they were up to date-wise, when the doorbell rang and my delivery (ordered 20 February) was delivered. I've unpacked it and everything was really well packed. Bubble wrap around anything breakable, no breakages/spillages. The only thing missing was the stollen but that was in my basket without a price so they just deleted it on the printed form (shame, I would have paid for it, I love stollen).

All in all - great - many thanks! Have just finished stashing loads of fruit juice and the Polish beans away. Don't know what my O/H will say when he comes home, lol. Am also partway through putting in my next order - but I don't have any storage space left - anywhere!!!

I've just has a refund of £2 on my order made on 25th February. Apparently a couple of items made my order just over the minimum £7.50 heavy order cost that was quoted and paid for when I placed the order. There must be a fine line.....especially as I'd added and taken items off before placing the order so that it was as close to the maximum limit as I could get it.

Can't wait for the parcel to come. Have already placed another order!

I can't get the new delivery option. Every time I've had a order, I've played around until I get the maximum goods for £5.25. My last order had extra juice, and an extra stollen, which weighed a lot more than the missing items.I don't think the weight calculation can be very accurate. That said, I still reckon the delivery charge is reasonable.

I agree it's very reasonable. My last order weighed 'a ton'! Can't fault it as always try to get as much weight as possible for the money....lol
