Asda is an odd treat for me, i will go out there once every couple of months and stock up on the things i can only get from there including the huge boxes of the 2 in 1 wash powder that includes the conditioner, my last box lasted me about 3 months from there and cost me £10 yet i used to spend £5 every fortnight on a box of wash powder then another £6 a fortnight on fabric conditioner!!!  good god that is scary to see how much i was spending!!!
i am about due an Asda trip though so i better get stocked up again!!I love War Of The Worlds:heart2:

Hi all, thought you might like to know that Tesco has launched a 'value event' in most stores from today. Is worth a look :j2008 is the year to:
1.Sort out electricity meter (if its the last thing I do-at least is means my other half will be left with the bill  )
2.Save enough c/card points for holiday to Mauritius next year
3.Start stoozing-maybe a slow one to begin with!0 -
tinned peaches(wash off the syrup if you want to be healthy)
thought i was the only one that did that with tinned fruit, have done it for years:D always use the value version if there is one, except for mayonnaise, it tasted like castor oil!0 -
Also the value tinned broken mandarin segments....a bargain at 11p, a good quick dessert0

i use bog roll, kitchen roll, kidney beans, fruit juice (utterly great) tined toms, saultanas, bananas and ant fruit and veg they have!! i can be a bit fussy but tesco value is cool!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

yeah i noticed that when i went in yesterday that they were setting it all up!! it seemed to look like they had sections of everything they do in the value range!
Bread
Tinned goods
Alcohol
bedding etc.......
looks like they are cashing in on things getting so expensive so get the customers by showing them how much they can get really cheap!!I love War Of The Worlds:heart2:

I was looking for value middle bacon yesterday and could only find back bacon and those cooking bits. I asked a shelf filler who said that they had stopped selling it. It was brilliant and never shrank like some of the more expensive stuff. I hope they start selling it again!0
