5 mins for a shower is just unreasonable. I spend at least 20-30 mins in the shower!0

1000 litres is one unit as measured on your water meter.
They're asking you to waste water! What on earth is the point in that?0 -

Thing is, if it's an electric shower, it can make a huge impact on the bill and some people just cannot afford to pay for the electricity they're using and have to cut back. We don't have a shower at present, but my teens were terrible at having long showers and while reason got me so far, sometimes drastic measures are needed.
I understand the need for some people to cut back but we don't watch TV so suppose I don't notice how much shower uses and guess if you have kids with TV/computers/showers etc it all adds up
Still amazed by the 5 min shower though...how long do other women spend when they need to wash hair and body?0 -
15 seconds to wet. 15 seconds to rinse. 30 seconds for final rinse. Anything longer than one minute is pampering. Not that pampering is not important or not worth paying for or not necessary.0

I take longer than five minutes in the shower, so I switch off the water whilst I am shampooing and have used a leave-on conditioner for many years now.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

An electric shower has to be kept running whilst showering otherwise theres a delay in the water coming hot again. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0
