  • The problem I have using cola is having to syphon out the water that's already in the toilet to make room for the cola. Seems like too much faffing about to me.

Is there any way I can syphon it out without getting a mouthful of dodgy water/toilet cleaner? z0tdntknw.gif

I reckon he's just having us on ;)

You can push the water through the u-bend with a plunger :D

I heard (don't know if it's true) that American cops use cola to clean up blood spills after road accidents...nice. Should work on the odd loo then.

 :rotfl: Errrmmmm I hope you are having us on :D

Use the loo brush as a plunger to reduce the water level. (Gives it a head start too)
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Coke is excellent for cleaning really dirty toilets, i just use water and vinegar now, and it keeps the toilet (and bathroom and kitchen) lovely and clean. I use 50/50 water to vinegar and a few drops of essential oil to give a different smell!!!! For greasy hobs/worktops i use vinegar and a little bicarb, cuts through the grease lovely!!!!
just seen this post...do you mix the bicarb and vinegar in a bottle and just spray it on, or do you just put a bit of bicarb on the oven top and add a bit of vinegar to it?

I wouldn't if I were you, not unless you want a mini volcano erupting! :rotfl:

Just sprinkle on the bicarb and spray it with vinegar solution to dampen down, or do what I do and use lemon juice with the bicarb, it works just as well to get through grease then you can wipe down afterwards with a vinegar solution to disinfect :)
